AIR INTAKE
The AIRLOCK™ VOYAGE starts its purification process by actively drawing air from the boat cabin through a powerful built-in fan.
This fan creates a consistent airflow, ensuring that all areas of the cabin are covered. By pulling in air from every corner, it captures odors and contaminants that would otherwise linger.

PHOTOCATALYST PURIFICATION
Once the air enters the system, it passes through a UV light chamber designed specifically for purification. In this chamber, the air is exposed to UVC light, which is known for its ability to kill or neutralize harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses.
At the same time, the air comes into contact with a specialized photocatalyst surface. This surface, when activated by UVC light, accelerates a chemical reaction that breaks down odor-causing compounds and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Together, these technologies ensure that the air is thoroughly cleansed of pollutants, leaving no room for harmful pathogens or unpleasant smells.

ION DISCHARGE
After the air is purified, the next step in the process is the release of millions of negatively charged ions into the area. These ions are dispersed into the air by the AIRLOCK™ VOYAGE, and they serve an important function in improving air quality.
Negatively charged ions attach to airborne particles, such as dust, mold spores, and other contaminants, neutralizing them. This process enhances the purification by targeting even the smallest particles that can contribute to bad smells or health risks.

PARTICLE NEUTRALIZATION
As these negatively charged ions attach to contaminants, they make the airborne particles heavier, causing them to fall out of the air and settle on surfaces.
This process effectively reduces the number of floating particles that contribute to odors, mold growth, and allergens.
By neutralizing and removing these particles from the breathable air, the system not only eliminates unpleasant odors but also significantly improves the overall air quality inside the cabin.

CONTINUOUS CYCLE
Once the air has been purified and cleansed of particles, the built-in fan pushes the newly purified air back into the cabin, distributing it evenly throughout the space. This process ensures that every corner of the boat benefits from the cleaner air.
